What?
The 4/14 movement is a mission oriented outlook that centers on affecting the lives of children in the 4/14 window- between the age of 4 to 14 years.
Why?
When we think of mission, most of the time our focus is on adults who have learnt the word & well prepared to spread the good news. But, the 4/14 window is often overlooked as being too young to understand or even make a difference. The harvest in Matthew 9:37 also applies to children. The 4/14 age group is when kids get exposed to their first impressions of the Bible, church and even mission. This is also the time when their personal, social and emotional developments are at their peak with numerous avenues for exploration and discovery. This is the best time for the seeds to be sown in their lives and bring about a plentiful harvest.
How?
Prayer is the foremost resource that can reap bountiful benefits. This day, 13 June 2021 has been separated as a DAY OF PRAYER for children around the world. Put aside 10 minutes of your time and devote it to prayer. You can do it individually, as a family, as a youth group, or even as a church. Prayer points are presented below in a pdf document or a bookmark for your ease. All that’s remaining is YOUR decision, YOUR commitment, just YOU!!
